Linda Newall- Visser

PASSION AND EXPERIENCE

Linda is the owner of L.R.V. Design and has over 15 years of experience in design ranging from small space renovations to large scale new home and cottage builds. Her love of design began early in life growing up with a father who spent his spare time building two cottages, bunkies, a boathouse and garage and then adding one addition at a time. As an adult, we continued this legacy with our own personal renovation projects, one room at a time. Each new project grew in scale, complexity and design until today where L.R.V. Design is presently experienced in project managing and design consultation for full- scale new construction cottages/homes in Muskoka, Toronto and surrounding areas .

This ensures practicality in design and management to fit each clients’ style, budget and timelines. Throughout her years of experience Linda has learned how stressful renovation and new build projects can become and therefore strives to operate with a high level of business integrity, and on-going communication style for client satisfaction. Design to deliver high quality products to suit all styles, ranging from rustic-tradition to transitional and contemporary materials.
Recently we have had the pleasure of adding Linda exclusively as our Design Consultant. After working with Linda, owner of L.R.V. Design, on several successful projects, we saw outstanding results. Working with Linda we have come to appreciate her keen eye for detail, and cutting-edge vision in current design tastes. Linda is truly a trend setter and a perfect fit for our company. L.R.V. Design has collaborated with us to come up with some exciting new flooring options which we will be introducing in Linda’s upcoming 2021 projects. We look forward to these rollouts and are elated to have the opportunity to add Linda to our team.

Our living room and dining room needed both an update and direction. Linda had a vision, blending our existing pieces with new ones taking into account our lifestyle and family. She offered solutions for reupholstery of some of our chairs mixed with new custom furniture, fresh paint colours and updated oak flooring. She has been congenial and timely throughout the process. Recently we hired L.R.V. Design to help us create a floor to ceiling patterned -etched glass shower enclosure which also has the unique feature of serving as corner-hallway walls. Linda has an amazing eye for design and seeing exactly what should be done with a room to make it pop. She is incredibly tenacious at her follow ups and at managing both the client and the suppliers and will do everything in her power to ensure a solution is delivered on time and on budget.
